![]() ![]() i hope, in the future, you do find some enjoyment in the remake when it's finally released, and i would love to hear your opinion about it again when the time comes! but also that said, it's still too early to tell, and we'll have to wait for the release to really find out.Īnd this isn't to say either that im running to be like "uhm no ur wrongg ommgggg!!!" because while i may not fully agree with you, i still understand your viewpoint and why you'd be worried about that. as for the awl remake, they may have lightened some aspects, but others seem like they will remain the same, like nina's passing between ch 1 and 2. The point i'm trying to make here is that the games haven't been afraid to approach these deep topics, and their aesthetics haven't been a factor in that. ![]() ford, the doctor in westown, even talks about growing up with a mentally unstable mother and how that has affected him even to do this day. Trio of towns, several romance candidates will talk about how their parents abandoned them or have estranged themselves. ![]() she hardly speaks at first, and when she starts to talk to you more, she alludes to this tragedy more and more. a little girl that can move into town is traumatized due to some recent family tragedy she just experienced. In magical melody, the game right after a(n)wl, the infamous baby faced chibi body characters will also comment on deceased family members. and throughout the game as you befriend her, she actively talks about the journey of recovery and learning to move on while also holding into her husband's memory. one of the first quests you do in tree of tranquility/animal parade is talk to a grieving widow to convince her to return to work because she's let her husband's business fall to the wayside since his death. I mean, historically, that's never stopped the bokumono, or any other video game series, from commenting on what we consider to be more mature themes. I am very worried the dark undertones and details in the prior games They look like fat bobble heads with big heads and little bodies. I played Story of Seasons Friends of Mineral Town for the Switch and it looked so weird. But I honestly just wish they released the older games and re-vamped and kept it aesthetically the same but added same sex marriage/add additional events/things if possible and re-mastered it to be re-played on newer handheld devices. Don't get me wrong, I will still buy the game, I will try to see if playing will change my mind. But something about these games has poor design and feel like something I'd play on an iPad or mobile phone. I am glad as a gay lesbian, we are getting representation, that makes me very happy. Everything looks so bright in the preview's images/trailer. I am very worried the dark undertones and details in the prior games that made it so charming are gone. I do not like the Story of Seasons a Wonderful Life Switch game, aesthetically. ![]() Even though it is now referred to as Story of Seasons. With peace and love, I love Harvest Moon, will always call it that. Use spoiler tags if you're posting a spoiler!
